Garden Balcony Replacement - Ipswich
“The job started as demolition and replacement of an existing wooden balcony. Paul visited to quote and after discussing many types of new structure the potential option to repair the existing rotten woodwork was mooted. As a large percentage of the existing was sound, this rapidly transpired to be the most cost-effective, and Paul gave his quote. He kept in contact well throughout the procedures, arrived at the agreed time having dropped off the 12 lengths of timber a week previously for me to paint by agreement. Most of the work was carried out from below, including use of a jack to restore correct alignment. The end result is now a structure probably stronger than the original 37 year-old balcony which will now last indefinitely. Paul and Ian were very careful to ensure maximum rot protection on all new timbers. The net result is a lasting fully functional balcony at considerably less cost than the original plan. They left the site very clean and tidy. Many thanks for a splendid job!”
